As per the Holy Scripture of this historical place, a narrative which the devotees believe that, an emperor Daksha, who has been named as Daksha Prajapathi worshipped the god Sri Siddhi vinayaka and performed a “Yagnam” popularly known as Daksha Yagnam.

Lord Sri Siddhi Vinayaka is having so many names and devotees used to pray him with different names. The most famous name among those is “Maha Ganapathi or Lord Ganesh”. The most common first prayer to Lord Ganesha is the Vakratunda Mahakaya mantra, which is recited to invoke his blessings and remove obstacles before starting any new endeavor or auspicious occasion.
Vinayaka Chaviti Festival
This temple is very famous in Andhrapradesh state and lakhs of pilgrims used to come from the length and breadth of India and worship god and takes blessings. The Vinayaka chaviti is the birthday occasion of Lord Ganesh celebrated as a big festival across every corner of India. Thousands of Vinayaka idols with various forms of embodiments are placed on stages in the streets, temples and worship the god continuously for 9 days and then immersed the idols in river water.
